Refund & Cancellation Policy

Customers: there's nothing to refund from us
For customers
Cancelling a job
You can cancel any open job from your dashboard at any time, free. If a worker has been accepted (job is confirmed):
- More than 24 hours before scheduled start: cancel without penalty. We'll notify the pro.
- Less than 24 hours: we encourage you to honor your commitment. The pro may have turned down other work. If you cancel, the pro may leave a review.
- Pro didn't show up or work was not as agreed: open a dispute. We'll review within 24 hours and may flag/remove the pro. Refunds of money paid directly to the pro are arranged between you and them; we can mediate.
For pros
Subscription cancellation
You can cancel your monthly subscription any time from Dashboard → Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period - pro-rated refunds for the unused portion are processed within 5–10 business days.
Per-job fee refund
The $9.99 per-job fee is refundable if:
- The customer cancelled their job after accepting you, before any work was performed.
- You won a dispute opened against you.
To request: open a dispute citing the case. We process approved refunds within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method.
First-job-free
If your first accepted job is cancelled by the customer, your "first job free" credit remains - your next accepted job will still be free.
How to request a refund
Use the dispute button on the relevant booking, or send us a note via our contact form with your case number. We respond within 24 hours.
Processing time
Once approved, refunds appear on your statement within 5–10 business days for cards, or instantly via PayPal balance.
